About
A multi skilled artist, crafter, and builder. If it can be made by hand I will find a way.
Using vibrant colors and a unique skill of painting on glass, along with more traditional art techniques, I create my art to tell the stories of the people, animals, and places around me. Pulling from my past experiences designing and painting for theatre, I create these stories building depth and capturing a moment in time that invites the viewer to wonder about the subject’s story or to invent their own. My favortie subjects tend to have some sort of humor or joy to them. Sometimes my work calls for very tiny or ginormous pieces of art ranging from 4 inches to 10 feet or more. The majority of my work these days are done in acrylic, watercolor, or gouache.
